Lori Finnila is a domestic violence survivor who has written and published two books about domestic violence and is working on another title "The Virtuous Woman" about domestic violence as well trying to bring attention to it. Lori pulled herself out from this by herself after running from domestic violence for years and suffering a permanent brain injury due to this.
